Jun 14, 2013 Church Bells Church Bells are probably the bells that most people are familiar with. Across the western world church bells are used to signal the call to service, the call to prayer, the passing of the faithful (funeral bells) and the joining of souls (wedding bells) Church Bells are still held in such regard that to celebrate the 850th anniversary of the famous Cathedral De Notre Dame in France nine new Church bells were commissioned to join "Emmanuel" the last of the original bells at Notre Dame.
